The East Asian rainy season, commonly called the plum rain
Japanese: 梅雨, tsuyu, baiu for nearly two months
during the late spring and early summer.
The wet season ends during the summer.

All area except the northern-most island of Hokkaido have a hot and a humid rainy season(called tsuyu,baiu)
that lasts from early June to mid-July.
And between August and October,the southwestern part of the archipelago is often hit by typhoons.
