March 3 is the Doll's Festival.
Doll's festival(Hinamatsuri) is linked to my childhood memories of the brightening of the sun and the coming of spring.
I had always taken it for granted, but seasonal events and the scents of the season or the weather at that time are always linked in my brain. I have come to realize at my age that Japan has four seasons and many events, which are truly wonderful.
