Hanami is going out to place such as parks to enjoy leisurelywhile appreciating the beautifully bloomed CHERRY BLOSSOM.We do HANAMI with family,colleague from work or friends in Aprilwhen The CHERRY BLOSSOM are in full bloom.This is the custom in Japan. People spread the mattress under the cherry blossom treessinging,drinking sake and enjoying beautiful spring. Hanami in the night is also popular, you can see the beauty of the cherry blossomsagainst the spring night sky. Hanami season is very short term because CHERRY BLOSSOM’s life is short.

Hinamatsuri (Doll's festival) Hinamatsuri occurs on March 3 andis an occasion to pray for young girl’s growth and happiness.Most Japanese homes with girls display dollsand decorate peach blossoms ,rice cake cubes,special coloredand diamond-shaped rice cakes ,white sake. The origin of Hinamatsuri is an ancient Chinese practicein which the sin of the body and misfortune transferred to a doll andwashed away by setting the doll in a river to drift away.
