Hinamatsuri! Doll's festival
Today, March 3, is the Hina Doll's Festival.

Hinamatsuri(Doll's Festival) is an occasion to pray for young girls' growth and happiness.Families with girls display Hinamatsuri dolls.
Most families with girls display dolls for the Doll's Festival called Hina-ningyo

I also have hina ningyo(dolls) in my hometown house.
I used to live with my grandmother, and I remember how we used to decorate the dolls every year while singing the Hinamatsuri song. It was an old house in the countryside, so every year the dolls' clothes and faces were chewed by rats, and I remember that we always had to repair them together.

We did an insta-live the other day and it's still in the archives, so please check it out ITA instagram account instagram.com/tsumami_kanzashi_school_online/
Me, I'm singing... the Hinamatsuri song!

As I mentioned at instalive, my grandmother was in a great hurry to put away the dolls because of the superstition at the time that if we did not put Hina doll away soon after Mar 3, daughter would not be able to get married or delayed.
For women in those days, getting married was a longing since they were little? That's what I thought.
Enjoy! hinamatsuri!
